I go to uic and i am looking for a good sushi place. Back at home there is this great place with great tasting sushi (i really like anything to do with shrimp, crab salad/crab (dont care which kind) and tuna...Im looking for a place in chicago that is real good but price friendly like sushi station is (max is 5.25 for a order of 4) Can someone plz tell meWho knows about sushi restaurants in chicago?
Best sushi deal for the money in Chicago is the House of Noodles and Sushi (it may be House of Sushi and Noodles) on Belmont and Ashland. It's an all you can eat sushi buffet with very good rolls for a buffet and it's only about 12 or 13 bucks. They make the rolls to order, so it's not spread out stale crap, and there are 20 or so to choose from.

Now if you want to spend some bucks (and some pretty serious bucks,) go to Tanoshii (sp?) on Clark St on the north side in the Andersonville neighborhood. Mike, the owner, is a "sushi master" and makes some of the best sushi ANYWHERE! His prices are waaaaay high though.Who knows about sushi restaurants in chicago?
