Any elegant downtown Chicago restaurants?

My boyfriend and I will be having our 3 year anniversary in 2 wks and would like to go somewhere nice for dinner downtown. We will even have a horse drawn carriage and everything. Im 20and he's 22 so we still like simple foods like Chicken Parmegiana (sp?) and chicken alfredo....no duck or lamb or anything like that lol. Any suggestions PLEASE!Any elegant downtown Chicago restaurants?
Your best bet, because you know your tastes and your budget, is to use a website like Zagat's. Here is the link for Chicago:

Italian Village on Monroe in the loop. Three different restaurants, themes and price points all in the same building.

or NOMI in the Park Hyatt overlooking the Watertower and Michigan Ave. That's where all the horse drawn carriages are too.
My husband and I dined at Mon Ami Gabi while in Chicago a few years ago. I absolutely loved it. The address is 2300 N. Lincoln Park West. He ordered the Beef Bourguignon and I opted for the Lemon Chicken Paillard. We both started with Onion Soup Au Gratin. The frites (fries) are the best I have ever had. The dessert menu....*le swoon*.Any elegant downtown Chicago restaurants?
My husband and I have dined at Spiaggia (and the Spiaggia Cafe, which is less expensive) Rhapsody, Cibo Matto, and CocoPazzo, among many others. I think I'd suggest the Spiaggia Cafe, which is on North Michigan Avenue near the lake. It has a varied menu.
The Everest- really fancy and pricey, good food. The Signature Room at 95th-fancy, decent fod. Theres all kinds of fancy restaurants in Chicago, Walnut room, Mortons, Spiaggia(my favoirte). just type into Google, fancy restaurants in chicago.
May I suggest the place called La Scarola or Gibsons Bar and Steak House Chicago?

This might be the best place to go
