What are some good and quirky restaurants in Chicago, Il ?

My friends and I are going to Chicago, and we'd like to find some interesting and kind of quirky restaurants. We'd just like to find some interesting options for while we're in Chicago. What are some good and quirky restaurants in Chicago, Il ?
Wow. There's a place in the Water Tower Place called 'Food Life' and there is EVERYTHING there. I went there when I was touring and I'm going there again this June. I love, love, love it. (: Like I said there is everything imaginable there!

I know on the homepage there's just simple stuff like hamburgers, but there is lots of quirky stuff there too (: Go to the link belowWhat are some good and quirky restaurants in Chicago, Il ?
Piece, on West North, is an awesome pizza-brewery place with a million toppings for the pizzas (including mashed potatoes and meatballs, which I definitely recommend!) and a ton of good beer to choose from. For breakfast I'd say go to Orange on West Roscoe. They have great cinnamon swirl pancakes and a ton of freshly made fruit juices. The fruit sushi is delish too. Bennigan's on South Michigan Ave is excellent and has great baked potato soup too. ;]What are some good and quirky restaurants in Chicago, Il ?
We took my daughter to a place called Half Shell for her birthday and she loved it! Occupies a walk-down space of a building in a residential area. It's basically an old school corner bar with with a dozen small tables that delivers some awesome seafood. We went after 9:00 PM and had no wait whatsoever. Portions are huge and Alaskan crab was well prepared and tasty. Menu was limited but you kinda know why you're there going in. Prices are commensurate with quality of food although cash is king here, no credit cards. You've been warned!
Go to cafe ba ba reeba. It is by Armitage and Halsted. Probably the best taste of Spain in the city.
