Chicago restaurants and activities?

I'm looking for ideas for what to do in Chicago. Please give me all your ideas for any great restaurants or things to do, preferably within walking distance of Millennium Park, but if not then definitely within walking distance of the El. Thanks a lot.

p.s. Ethnic restaurants are great, too, but nowhere super pricey!Chicago restaurants and activities?
Tamerind: Asian Cuisine ...... AMAZING! Pretty reasonable. . . and cool atmosphere! Its on the 600 block of Wabash.

Art Inst. and Field Museum are Free this month! Go there!

WICKED TICKETS: Go to the borders bookstore on Lake street at 11:30 on Sat and put your name in a raffle to win front row tickets for only $25!!

Italian Village: I don't know the address off the top of my head. But there are 3 restaurants in one building, one is expensive, one is middle range, and one is cheaper. Check it out!

Ice Skating at Mill Park: I think it is $8 to rent skates. It is very fun to do with friends! Also when your there check out the bean, and the ice sculptures!Chicago restaurants and activities?
Navy Pier, the beach is right there, and even though it is cold you can still take a nice walk, shopping on the magnificent mile.

As for restaurants, good chicago style pizza: ginos east, giordanos.
