What are some good, but cheap restaurants in chicago?

I'm going there on monday and am paying for two other people and i'll only have about 40 bucks on me, so what are some good places to go?What are some good, but cheap restaurants in chicago?

It's not the classiest looking joint, but the food is superb! I think this is one of the top Thai restaurants in the city. The prices are cheap and everything is sooo good. We've had the pad kee mao

Loved this restaurant. Went next door and bought a Polish beer. Two of us had dinner and a variety plate for like $16. Great atmosphere and food. Could be vacuumed a bit more thoroughly.

This was one of the most culturally immersing restaurant experiences I've had in Chicago. It may be an overstatement but I do remember the kitschy decor, the waitress' strong accent, the Polish guys
