Can you recommend some restaurants in Chicago?

I'm actually looking for the small neighborhood restaurants that people don't know about;the 'hole-in-the-wall' places. Those are fun to go to,to take friends to.Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Can you recommend some restaurants in Chicago?

Tufano's Vernon Park Tap, 1073 W. Vernon Park Place, Chicago. GREAT Italian food. They were on Diner's, Drive-In's and Dives last year. Great lemon chicken, eggplant parmigiana and salad. Can you recommend some restaurants in Chicago?
Pho's Hot %26amp; Spicy Thai Cuisine

3332 N Lincoln Ave

Chicago, IL 60657

It's small, and at first it looks super shady, but I swear it's worth it. People who challenge the cook to make a really spicy dish, and then manage to EAT the dish, get their photo taken with the cook and the photos are posted on the walls. They also make their dishes at a mild spice level for those who can't take the heat (like me).
