I'm leaving for college next week (woo!) and I want to take someone that I care very much for on one last date. I'm looking for somewhere in downtown Chicago that is romantic, yet reasonably priced (less than $100 for both of us). And, because of time issues, the date would have to happen around lunch time. Any suggestions?Reasonably priced restaurants in Chicago?
RME for the idiotic answer just given,,, ( dumb )... Try The Cheesecake Factory. It's below the Hancock building and reasonably priced but still a really nice eatery with good atmosphere for a date. The cheesecake is amazing and the entrees are really good as well. Enjoy and have fun.
Chicago downtown has great options for dinning out. Especially if you are looking for romantic dinner a date then you might consider following two:

I like Heaven on Seven. The original place at 111 N. Wabash on the seventh floor of the Garland Building. (across the street from Macy*s)
Gotta get the Gumbo and a Cheddar Jalapeno Corn Muffin. Everything else I have had there is great.
If you want to go a little fancier, actually a lot fancier in comparison, try The Italian Village. I like the restaurant on the second floor. If you want privacy they have tables that are set into alcoves with curtains in front of the alcove. Very private, great for conversation.....remember you are in a public place!
How about a French dinner at Bistrot Margot ?I just find a offer of this restaurant, and it could save you a lot. Check it out here:http://www.dealstudio.com/searchdeals.php?type=id%26amp;q=d180301%26amp;ru=286001
Good day :)Reasonably priced restaurants in Chicago?
There's this great Irish restaurant, it's a bit obscure and out of the way, however it's totallly worth it. I think it's called MacDonalds', or something like that.
There are too many to pick. Check the Chicago websites of Metromix or Urbanspoon.
