Tamarind a good sushi restaurant in Chicago?

I'm going to Chicago in a few weeks.



I heard that there's a sushi place called the Tamarind. It's kind of in a slightly "bad" neighborhood.

Tamarind is in the South Loop. It's not a bad neighborhood, just a bit quiet compared to the north side. There's lots of restaurants around there and the Chcago Hilton is next door.



That said, Tamarind is decent but not outstanding, in my opinion. It's fine, and it has a lot of other options besides sushi, but there's other better sushi restaurants in Chicago (Tsuki, Oysy, Coast, and New Tokyo are my favorites, personally.)
