Well i gotta say Chicago Pizza, and anywere that sells chicken wings
Home run in pizza is the best i have ever had
ginos pizzeria east
I love the pubs in Chicago - great fish and chips

Otherwise House of Blues or a Jazz bar real close to it called Red Fish is incredible
I would also add Cru Wine Bar on Wabash if you enjoy wine -they have a great selection and great food to compliment it. If you are willing to travel outside the Gold Coast(Mag Mile, River North, Old Town and Lincoln Park), I would also suggest North Pond Cafe (use a lot of local and organic foods, beautiful location, great food, pricy though), Ambria (french and pricey), Cafe Iberico (great tapas - get the sangria too!), Brasserie Jo (casual french bistro), Geja's Cafe (fondue - be ready to smell like fondue oil when you leave though) and Adobo Grill (Latin/Mexican - great margaritas and tableside guacamole)

You can also check out www.metromix.com for all neighborhoods, where you can browse by cuisine, price, location, meal, etc
Gold Coast Merlo on Maple if you like itlian; elegant and authentic.
Katsu on Petersen has great sushi.
depending on budget, Hooters-good wings and a possible piece of *** or on the high end DEFINITELY Gibson's which has steak and seafood.
I have to agree try Gibson grill in Rosemont and if you decided to explore Rosemont go to White Nights Restaurant on Higgins and Mannheim or Shoeless Joe Sports bar which is next door.

Hope you like it:)
