HELP PLEASE! Will be spending next thurs-sun in chicago, wat are the best restaurants and places 2go 2?

My boyfriend and I will spend 4days together in chicago.

This is our first time in chicago so we need some help planning our trip...

For sure we'r going to the bulls game fri the 28th but we have nothing else planned...

Please help me out with my plannin, theirs so many places, buildings, museums, restaurantsHELP PLEASE! Will be spending next thurs-sun in chicago, wat are the best restaurants and places 2go 2?
Go to Pizzeria Due at the corner of Wabash and Ontario! (near the Magnificent Mile). I work there and it's the ORIGINAL, the best deep dish pizza in Chicago. Do some shopping on the Mag Mile and check out Water Tower Place while you're there.

Also you have to go to the Sears Tower Skydeck. (Your guidebook might say Willis Tower, but don't you dare utter the W-word to a Chicagoan or we're liable to knock your teeth out.)

When you're downtown, check out Millennium Park. It's tradition to go take a photo of your wonky reflection in the huge metallic sculpture called Cloud Gate, more affectionately known to Chicagoans as the Bean. While you're there go ice skating at Millennium Park.

A bit further south on Michigan Ave, also highly recommend the Art Institute on Michigan and Adams, and farther down on Lake Shore Drive, check out the Field Museum and the Shedd Aquarium.
Chicago is a great city, here are some places that are worth checking out...

Restaurants: (All of these are pretty affordable)

- Hot Dougs - unique hotdog place, really good hotdogs like vegan, alligator, rabbit, rattlesnake

- Lou Malnati's Pizzeria - best deep dish pizza in the world, classic Chicago

- Cafe Ba-Ba-Rebba

- Blackbird

- Big Boy Gyros

Places to go:

- Lincoln Park Zoo (FREE)

- Museum of Contemporary Art

- John G Shedd aquarium

- Navy Pier

- Field Museum

- Willis Tower

- Millenium Park

All of these places are great to check out. I've seen all of them, and enjoyed them thoroughly. In Chicago, you can sight see just be checking out the main streets. Don't worry about not being able to fit everything in...its better to enjoy a couple of things than hurry through the whole list.

Hope this help, have fun on your trip!!HELP PLEASE! Will be spending next thurs-sun in chicago, wat are the best restaurants and places 2go 2?
Other answer was very helpful....a couple of notes though....

-LP Zoo is brutal this time of year, most of the animals are "hibernating".

-Blackbird is Pricey but delicious, however next door is Avec which is less expensive and equally delicious.

Some other recs:

-Big Star (whiskey, tequila, tacos) and The Violet Hour (craft cocktails) .Both are really easy to get to from the Blue Line Damen Stop

*good for the bulls game night, quick ride to the stadium via cab,

-Purple Pig on Michigan avenue

-Gilt Bar on Kinzie (make reservations now)

-Mercadito on Kinzie (also make reservations)

Have fun!
Taven on Rush - one of the best restaurants in Chicago. Pricey, but absolutely worth every penny.
Green Mill - Al Capone's old hang out. You can even sit in the booth he used regularly. Cool and different type of thing to do. Interesting stories passed down to the staff and they'll tell you about them.
Excalliber - Night club, famous!
Sears Tower
Lincoln Park Zoo won't be any good in the winter, nice place to walk, though.
Navy Pier
Miller's Pub - Great steak house under the L a few blocks south of the end of the Magnificent Mile. You can get in there without a reservation .
Gino's East Pizza across the street from Northwestern University Medical Center, AWESOME pizza, lots of seating.

You HAVE to go to the West Egg for breakfast. Get there early, it gets crowded quick. Thursday or Friday should be slower after 9 am. Huge breakfast, famous place, inexpensive.HELP PLEASE! Will be spending next thurs-sun in chicago, wat are the best restaurants and places 2go 2?
