Try any restaurant in the Kedzie %26amp; Lawrence (Albany Park) area. Lots of very authentic, cheap Middle Eastern places.
There is a place called Souk on Milwaukee. It is excellent. It is also a Hookah bar with belly dancers so if you have time go late and hang around for a while.
