Where to go to dinner in Chicago?

My friends and I are planning a night in Chicago (keep in mind we are in high school).

Long story short we want to be able to dress up pretty nicely and go out to a nice(ish) dinner. We do not, however, want to spend $100000....

What restaurants in Chicago are nice/ fancy enough to dress up to go there, have good food, and aren't tooo expensive? Preferably not seafood. I'm thinking Italian or something?

Thanks!Where to go to dinner in Chicago?
I like The Italian Village on Monroe. Not overly expensive but I am pretty sure you can check out the menu before go to their web site.
If you want to try something else go to http://www.restaurant.com and purchase a certificate. check the restaurants and look at the menu and determine if the style of food and price are what you want. If you apply a code you can sometimes get a $25.00 certificate for as little as $3.00. When you get to the site click on the state/city you want then you can narrow it even more by type of food or price.
Please remember to TIP on the full price not on the discounted price. Some restaurants will add TIP when you use the certificate some won't so check the bill.

Current code..put in "Steak" in code area then click apply and your $25.00 certificate will cost you $2.00 but the code is good only today. Tomorrow they will probably have another code.Where to go to dinner in Chicago?
