geija's a very sexy, intimate fondue resturant off of fulerton. then i would take her to navy pier and go on the ferris wheel and propose to her up there. you can take her to the botanical garden but that's more suburbs, but it's very beautiful there. if you want to stay around the city, then the whole touristy spots are the usual places...navy pier, john hancock, buckingham fountain, etc. you can also take her on a carriage ride near the water tower on michigan. well whatever you do, i'm sure it'll be very memorable and congrats to you~!

Take her for a horse carriage ride on Michigan Ave. The Signature Room on the Hancock would be romantic.
If she likes sushi, Sushi Samba is amaaazing. it's a fuse of south american and Japanese
95th club at the top of the John Hancock. great view from every window. 95 floors up, you'll be on top of the world.

Go to a nice restaurant in chicago, but not to 'fancy' so she doesn't suspect anything. Then take her to millenium park or buckingham fountain and propose there. Do it at night. It's so beautiful there at night. You could do it under the bean b/c it will reflect images of you all over and at night it's most likely to be less crowded. Good luck and congrats!!!!!
Don't propose at the restaurant. Take her to dinner at Russian Teatime and then after dinner walk over to the Field Museum on Michigan Avenue and propose to her in the garden. It's beautiful there.
At the top of the John Hancock. It's perfect with a beautiful view of the city.
