Restaurants in Northern Chicago and Downtown Chicago?

I will be in Chicago for business and need to know some good places to eat. During the day I will be in Northern Chicago near Cumberland Ave and want to know of some good places for lunch. At night I will be staying downtown on N. Michigan Ave on the Magnificent mile and want to know nice places for dinner. Please help.....Restaurants in Northern Chicago and Downtown Chicago?

If you want a really good dinner, go to Gibsons Steakhouse on Division Street. Excellent steaks. Another good place is Harry Carey's. Both are in the downtown area or just north. Magnums is good also. If you want a diner type experience I would suggest Ed Debevicks.



The other person says Portillo's. If you want they do have a very good hot dog. But you should try it Chicago style.



There are a lot of chains up in that area, Grand Lux(Cheesecake Factory under a different name), TGIF, Weber Grill, etc.



One thing is for certain, you will not go hungry in Chi-town.Restaurants in Northern Chicago and Downtown Chicago?
I know this is cliche. But I love the pizza while in Chicago. My favorite is Edwardo's Natural Pizza. There several different ones. But I like the one near Dearborn and Congress. You have to wait forever for your pizza and the service sucks, but I promise you when you take the first bite of that amazing pie, you forget all about it:) Gosh..this is making me want to make a trip to Chicago!
