(Chicago-area Adults Answer Only!) Best Romantic Restaurants in Chicago?

I'll be in Chicago at the end of May with someone I've been seeing now for nearly a month. Haven't done the very romantic thing yet, but I would like to in Chicago. I know of great pizza and Chinese restaurants to eat at, but none really with a romantic ambiance. I've tried to do my research online and all I can say is there are dozens of "Top romantic restaurants" in Chicago lists and all are different. Not even one restaurant would make a top 10 list twice! And then there's the user's rating vs. a critic's rating and none really ever match each other.

This is driving me nuts!!! ARGH! So my question to people in and around Chicago (or dine at these spots in Chicago) is:

Does anyone know of some fine, romantic restaurants (that wont cost me over $100 for two) in Chicago? Please just list them off by name. I don't need a location or type of cuisine as I will research them on my own. Just a name and I will compile them by what comes up most or matches the list I already created. Red Rooster Cafe on Halsted and Dickens in Lincoln Park http://www.cafebernard.com/Redrooster/

Select Cut on Halsted www.selectcut.com

These are reasonably priced. The 1st one is super romantic and in a great neighborhood. If you make reservations ask to be seated in the Redrooster Cafe...it is a really intimate room in the back with its own entrance...so cute. She will be impressed!
i love the "melting pot". if there is one there, i highly suggest it.(Chicago-area Adults Answer Only!) Best Romantic Restaurants in Chicago?
Rosebud Italian Restaurant, great food with romantic, cozy ambience
Here is a decent list. I limited to downtown and Lincoln Park.

I would check them out on www.metromix.com

Luna Caprese - neighborhood Italian. Great pasta

Cocco Pazzo - formal Italian, maybe too pricey

Nacional 27 - Latin American - they have dancing

Mon Ami Gabi - French Bistro

Tizi Melloul - Middle Eastern - very exotic decor

Vivo - another Italian, this one in the Market District

Bistro Zinc - French Bistro

Cyrano's - French Bistro

Green Dolphin Street - Live Jazz

The Tasting Room - if you end up on Randolph in the Market District, this is a great place for dessert and an after diner drink - great view.

There are lots more.

Personally I think you should do the horse carriage on Michigan Avenue for romance.

Athena Greek Restaurant - 212 S. Halstead St., (312) 655-0000 This Greektown restaurant draws inspiration both from the Greek goddess and from the regional marketplace that was ancient Athens. The menu features regional Greek specialties including kebabs, seafood and lamb dishes. Entree portions are big and so are the hot and cold seafood and vegetarian appetizers, so you might want to share. Though the requisite "Opaa!" is still issued with the flaming of the saganaki, this is more a fine dining restaurant than it is a Greektown party spot. Attire is dress-casual to suit-and-tie. There is a patio cafe for about 220 diners. A bar area is in the center of the restaurant.
