Good Restaurants in Chicago?

My boyfriend and I and another couple are going downtown for a double date in a couple days and want to go to a different restaurant than our usual. We're seniors in high school and freshmen in college so we need somewhere moderately priced cuz we arent necessarily rolling in the dough lol. We really want somewhere italian. Also prefer its in the loop cuz we're taking the trainGood Restaurants in Chicago?

And here are some more good restaurants:

-Penny's noodle shop= has really good noodles and cost per person is about $8.regulars swear that the soups and pad Thai are some of the best in town 鈥?for a bargain price.

- Giordano's= great deep dish pizza, pasta, and salad.average cost per person in $14

- Pizzeria uno= supposedly THE place for chicago style pizza. has italian an american food, including, soups, pizza, pasta, and sandwiches and burgers.

- superdawg drive in= great american drive in food

- tuscany= great italian cuisine, popular with youthful hipsters as it is with downtown suits. During those "brisk" Chicago winters, their wood-burned gourmet pizzas are positively heaven-sent.

- heaven on seven=ntices many locals to stop in for some of the zestiest gumbo this side of the Mason-Dixon. Or, try red beans and rice, jambalaya, or a catfish po' boy. All the Louisiana-style classics are boldly flavored and expertly preparedGood Restaurants in Chicago?
Near the Chicago stop on the redline is the Hancock tower. There is a lovely authentic Italian cafe, L'Appetito, below the building. It looks really cool down there; you can sit outside. It's on the far leftside of the tower if you're facing it from Michigan - the opposite side of the Cheesecake Factory.

From there you can walk to the MCA and the beach. You also are right by the Watertower and across the street is 4th Presbyterian which is a famous beautiful Gothic revival church whose sanctuary is open everyday. Also, LUMA is right there, too. Both LUMA and the MCA are free on Tuesdays so that's a good day.Good Restaurants in Chicago?
