Good Restaurants in Chicago?

Okay, so my family and I are going on vacation next weekend to Chicago. I was wondering if anyone knew of great places in the loop or somewhere to eat dinner and maybe lunch.. Any help would be nice!

Thanks so much in advanceGood Restaurants in Chicago?
It depends what you're looking for. Pizza, hamburgers, steak? Well, as far as pizza goes, "Uno's" takes the cake. Have the pepperoni or sausage deep dish and every bite is like an orgasm in your mouth. It should be a crime for pizza to be that good. As far as steakhouses, I heard "Ruth's Chris" was excellent, but I've only tried "Gibson's". I can't remember if "Gibson's" is located in the loop or not, but they have fantastic steaks and ribs. My only nitpick is that their ribs don't fall off the bone, but they're still up to par.
There are a few places you have to try.

The Billy Goat. Lower Wacker. Go to the Tribune building..look at the building, they have stones from all over embedded into the building. After that cross the street, there is a stairway going under the sidewalk, go down and follow the signs to the Billy Goat. There are other Billy Goat Taverns but you have to go to this one.

Lou Malnatti's for a deep dish pizza. Any one of them will be good. Now others will tell you other pizza places to try and most are pretty good. If you will be in the city for a while pick 2 or 3 places to try pizza. Just get a small one and have it as a "snack" or lunch. The deep dish pizza is pretty filling.

The other things you must try are

Chicago Style Hot Dog..NO ketchup!!

Italian beef with sweet peppers and a mild or spicy giardiniera.

last but not least if you are in town for a while you must try a Gyros sandwich.

With the family, I would say:

Portillo's for Chicago-style hot dogs and lots of other things.

Rockit Bar %26amp; Grill for upscale-style bar food (good sandwiches, salads, etc)

Hard Rock Cafe if you want to get touristy.

Potbelly.

Quartino for pizza/italian.
Shaw's Crab House, 21 E Hubbard, Chicago 60611 / 312-527-2722 (on Hubbard between State and Wabash); try the lobster bisqueGood Restaurants in Chicago?
The rainforest cafe! I know most people think of it as a tourist attraction but they have really good food. I live in the Chicago area and I go there all the time. A little pricey though!

Dick's Last Resort is fun. The waiter's there are known to be "mean" but they're really funny.
