1. Cafe Bionda - http://cafebionda.com/ Nothing fancy, just the best traditional Italian food in the city.

2. Hackney's Printer's Row - http://www.hackneysprintersrow.net/ Great burgers, nice beer menu.

3. Dixie Kitchen (Hyde Park) - http://www.dixiekitchenchicago.com/ The best Southern food in the city. The highlight of the meal...being served a basked of Johnny Cakes instead of bread %26amp; butter with your meal. The best tasting things on the planet.

Portillo's/ Barnelli's: 100 W. Ontario st.

This place has the best hot dog and fries ever. They have amazing salads, burgers, sandwiches and it is connected to Barnelli's pasta bowl which has any traditional Italian Dish. Amazing! There are other locations as well. It's a great restaurant you'll love it.

Adobo Grill on wells and north

They have amazing Mexican food. One highlight is their tableside made guacamole. Very authentic!!

Star of Siam

Very nice thai restaurant on 11 e Illinois. They have great pad thai and crab rangoon
My three favorites are:

Mexican: Frontera Grill

Italian: Rosebud on Taylor St.

French: Bistro Margo

I can't say for sure if all dishes are under $25.00 but I'm sure some are. I have been to Rosebud more often than the two others and most pasta dishes are under $25.00 Hope you enjoy!Give me your top 3 restaurants in Chicago. (the city only)?
