What are some good, but casual restaurants in and around the Chicago area. Looking for something out of the ordinary but not too expensive.Chicago restaurants?
LaCreperie on North Clark by Diversy is a great place. It is cozy, comfy, and not a chain restaurant. The food is great and it is in a nice part of Chicago. Try it!!
I took my boyfriend to Medieval Times in Schaumburg.Chicago restaurants?
On Devon St. there is an area with Indian Restaurants, it is pretty cool and the food is good too.
gino's east, it's trademark chicagoChicago restaurants?
I agree with the suggestion of La Creperie... it's a great place. Another one (not too far from there) is the Red Lion Pub on Lincoln Avenue, just north of Fullerton.
Also, Sanko restaurant on Clark Street, north of Addison. Yummy and cozy Japanese restaurant.
A great but different place would be Rezas, its great Mediterranean food!..and its not to expensive....the amount of food you get also is fantastic...good luck!
You gotta try Portillo's. It's great. Best Chicago dogs ever!
Try Earwax on Milwaukee and near Six Corners (Wicker Park/Bucktown). It's casual and has an interesting interior. The food is great and reasonably priced, with a variety of vegetarian options as well as dishes with meat. It is located near several other restaurants, bars, shopping, and concert venues.
Portillos is a def. must. Also a FUN and entertaining place to go may be Dave and Busters in Addison, IL. They have a restaurant and an arcade for adults! Good Luck and Enjoy!
The Cheese Cake factory is FANTASTIC and in a great location to do some free sight seeing of Historical buildings and the lake. ESPN Zone is good, there's a lot of action: big screen t.v.'s to watch sports while you eat and arcades are up stairs, the food is good. Have a great time :)
