Anyone know any specifically egyptian restaurants in Chicago?

I know some middle eastern, but i'm wondering if there are any that are strictly egyptian food.Anyone know any specifically egyptian restaurants in Chicago?
There are three that I can think of...One is a night club on Milwaukee on the SE corner at Dempster (can't remember the name--might be The Sphinx, but that's where it is).

Sigara Hookah Cafe is in the 2000 block of W Division St

There's also an Egyptian night club out in the Orland Park area. There are a lot of fights there (Palestinians vs Jordanians for some reason) but my ex-husband used to take me out there a lot. Would have to do some searching to find it though.

But if you go up on Kedzie Ave between Montrose and Foster, you'll have no problem finding a great Egyptian or Near East restaurant, complete with Arabic news on the TV coming in from special satellite feed.

BTW, the Lebanese restaurant in Detroit is La Shish and it's unmatched Middle Eastern and Near Eastern food!
Sorry, I don't know of any anywhere. Except maybe Egypt lol You could use a search engine. Type in "Egyptian cusine" or something like that. Some odd one out there has made a list of famous eqyptian restaurants I guarantee it. Then you just look for the one closest to Chicago.Anyone know any specifically egyptian restaurants in Chicago?
I took a Doctor from the World Health Organization to lunch.

He's from Egypt and we were in Detroit.

I took him to a Lebanese restaurant and asked the owner to bring us what he thought we would enjoy.

It was fantastic. The good Doctor said it was the best meal he had in months.

Egyptian food has it special nuances - but it is very close to Mideastern food.

Now this is the most unique spot in Chicago to dine. Going to eat here is like going to eat at a festival. This is a Mediterranean/Egyptian restaurant that is filled with action. The atmosphere is eclectic to say the least - mainly because of being surrounded by belly dancers and people smoking hookah pipes. They have great chef specials and a lot of menu choices that are sample-like platters to choose from. The staff is very educated with the menu, so do not hesitate to ask for assistance. The prices seem to be a bit steep but this is definitely worth a visit for the atmosphere alone. If you want the full treatment, make sure you make your reservation for a Wednesday or a Saturday as they have both singers and belly dancers on those nights. They are also opened very late, so walk-ins are very common during the week.
