Any nice Italian Restaurants in Chicago?

I'm going there for a few days and need a recommenddation for a nice Italian restaurant. Somewhere you'd take your special someone on his 30th birthday, but it won't break my bank account! Know what I mean???

Thanks!Any nice Italian Restaurants in Chicago?
Try Think. Amazing food, nice atmosphere (although doesn't seem to be from outide) and it's BYOB so you save a little there. There's a corkage fee of like $5 or something like that. Also, Buano Terra in Logan Square. again great food, good service, and decent prices. In fact on Thursday they have a great Prixe fixe for like $25 or so and includes a glass of wine

Another suggestion - not necessarily Italian (actually South American Tapas) - Emilios. There are 2 downtown. Either one is fine if you're taking a cab, but if you are driving, stay away from the Lincoln Park location. Parking is hell. It's fun dining, good, and you stop ordering when you are full. A little pricey, but good for a special occaision %26amp; nicely different.Any nice Italian Restaurants in Chicago?
Would depend on where you will be in the City. Downtown there is the Italian Village. There alot of resturants that serve pasta dishes in their menus but might be better at another speciality. And you can find a great place to eat anywhere in this City, no matter what side of town you live in.
You should definitaly check out Bella Lounge. The food is really, really good. Prices range depending on what you want, but they can pretty much accomadate any budget. They've also got a dj and have quite a cool party atmosphere, so, especially for a birthday dinner, you can't go wrong here.

You should check out a few places, go to their websites, see their menus and photos, thats really the best way to do it.

Be sure to get the Calamari and the string bean salad!! It is my favorite place to eat out of any place in the city!!

It is pretty resonably priced.....without wine it will run you about 50.00 and with I would say about 100.00
Carmine's - authentic 'from the "family" food. . . go to
