As a Chicago vegetarian, here are my top favorite restaurants here!!

1. Chicago Diner - probably one of the best veg restaurants in the United States, wins many awards, and is just awesome in general. Located on Halstead and Addison. www.veggiediner.com/

2. Urban Vegan - a new restaurant that is super delicious and not too expensive! Located in Lakeview.

3. Handlebar is also good! handlebarchicago.com/

4. Karyns on Green - a chic, pretty expensive, fancy vegan restaurant downtown. I go here for special occasions like birthdays.

5. Drew's Eatery has great vegan desserts and hot dogs! :) Fun place in Lincoln Square!
