What is the most expensive restaurant in Chicago?

Money is not an issue. I wish to find the most expensive place to eat in the whole city. Also, any prices would be greatly appreciated, specifically of their most expensive dish. Thank you. What is the most expensive restaurant in Chicago?
Not sure if most expensive, although with wine pairing it could be, but considered the best: Alinea. I think it was the only (or one of the few) US restaurant to make the Top 20 restaurants in the world. Probably can't get a reservation for a while.

It's sort of taken the glamor away from Charlie Trotter's, which is still a top restaurant and still uber expensive.

Both are "price fix" chef's choice (pre-determined menu), and it's best to do with the wine pairing (which also like doubles the bill). Both are a phenom experience, but Alinea is unlike anything else out there.
Are you assuming dollars equal quality??

If you're looking for awesome food, Graham Elliott without a doubt. If you want "not so worth the money" expensive food, Alinea is the place to go.What is the most expensive restaurant in Chicago?
Went to Alinea and I agree it has to be the most expensive, however, it really did not live up to the press. This happens a lot though. The more expensive the restaurant the more expectations are built up and the more difficult it is to be satisfied.
Alinea

L20

Charlie Trotter's

They don't have separate, "most expensive dishes." They have prix fixe meals which invloves many dishes and wine pairings at a fixed price.

p.s. If "money is not an issue" then why do you want to know the most expensive dish? What is the most expensive restaurant in Chicago?
